Canada's Reminder to OpenAI
The copyright question is far from settled.
When I read on Friday that Canada’s biggest publishers — several I grew up reading or watching from my parents' house in Edmonton — banded together to sue OpenAI for copyright infringement, I knew two things: 1) That it wouldn't be the last copyright lawsuit filed against a major AI company, and 2) I had the topic of my next column.
